This Highboy Dresser was standing in the Land Haus workshop for a while. It already looked quite stately but the mahogany veneer had suffered over the years.
You all know about my love of painting and so,in the end, I couldn’t hold back and dipped the paint brush into my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
This time I slightly changed my painting approach and used pasting wax applied in certain areas in between the different coats of paint.
Starting with Robins Egg Blue, I layered a custom yellow/beige, followed by Pure White and finished with another coat of Robins Egg Blue.

After drying I carefully scraped the waxed areas and voila!
💖✨💖LOVE IT 💖✨💖!
I finally achieved a quite authentic look of layers and layers of old paint chipping off.
This stunning Highboy Dresser is 35 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 50 ½ inches tall.
It is priced at $395.
If you are interested please send me a message or stop in at the Land Haus 🏠. We will be open again on Friday from noon until 5 pm and on Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm.
